About Amit Ranjan
From Amit Ranjan's bio:
Read MoreI head the New Delhi office of Uzanto, a Silicon Valley based web product strategy startup. We are a research & consulting firm and we help technology companies conceptualise/design next-generation web products and optimise their existing products from a usability and user experience perspective.
I have been instrumental in setting up the Indian arm of Uzanto from scratch. Apart from being the operational head, I manage the Project Team as well as head the product strategy for Uzanto’s products & services. The team I lead, is involved in the design & developement of research related software to be used by Uzanto. We work on some of the latest and the most exciting web application technologies and research methods. Our work involves creation of innovative intellectual property in the domain of HCI ( human computer interaction).
I hold an MBA (majors in marketing) from the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi and a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from REC/NIT Jaipur.
Before joining Uzanto, I have held various positions in marketing, market research, business developement, modern trade mangement etc while working for Indian and foreign companies. My last stint was with PepsiCo in their snacks food division. Prior to that, I was with Asian Paints(India’s largest paint company). Before my MBA, I worked for Godrej & Boyce (one of the largest Indian conglomerates) in the Material Handling & Equipment Division.
