"It's hard to believe that the iPhone will cost this much considering its so much cheaper in USA. It's possible that this is because of Vodaphone.

Typically most technology companies price products like Microsoft Windows lower in India than they do in the US. However, this may be because they are trying to compete with pirated products on the market. Here, Apple does not have to worry about that.

In the next few months, I think its likely that the iPhone will have a much lower price tag."
