Baring, Sequoia and Sigular pick up 4.75% stake in Manappuram

A day after announcing the promoters’ intent to sell stake in the company, Manappuram Finance has announced the sale of 4.75 per cent in the company to three private equity investors. Baring PE India, Sequoia Capital and Siguler Guff picked up 4.75 per cent stake in the company on Wednesday, said the company in a statement on Thursday. The promoters raised Rs 144.65 crore through the sale of 36.12 million shares of the company at a price of Rs 40.04 per share. The sale price was at a 9 per cent
